West Valley Intermodal Hub

The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) have prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed West Valley City Intermodal Center Project. This EA describes the proposed action, which consists of 10-bay bus hub located at approximately 2840 West and 3650 South in West Valley City, a southern park-and-ride lot adjacent to the bus hub, a northern park-and-ride lot located at approximately 2840 West Lehman Avenue, and an operational element that includes the consolidation of bus routes to a single location. A 30-day public comment period on this EA began on January 2, 2007 and concluded on February 1, 2007. Written comments on the document were required to be postmarked or submitted via the UTA web site by February 1, 2007.

A public hearing/open house meeting was held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 to answer questions and receive comments on the EA. Thank you to everyone who participated.
